TFC Missions

Apprentice Positions Available May-August 2024. Teens and college students encouraged to apply. Teens For Christ is looking for people who have a desire to work with our staff for the summer. Those accepted will help prepare and run some of the following events:

-TFC Summer Camp

-Serve Week (2 options)

-Sport Week & Game Week at TFC

-Office Work Days

-Vacation Bible School trips (5 weeks)

-Young Preachers Trip to Canada

-Other Options Available

-Apprentice teens will work before, during and after ministry trips and can attend one staff meeting over the summer.

The apprentice can choose to work as a volunteer & TFC may reduce the rate for some events the apprentice participates in.

The apprentice can be paid up to $200 a week.

They will be expected to raise their own income through support donations in the same way TFC staff does. People love to give in support of teens they see serving the Lord.

Teens For Christ is seeking teens who have a heart for children and sharing the Gospel to serve on our VBS Mission Trips this summer. Usually several different weeks are available. Teens may choose to serve at one or more weeks. Each week costs $130.

You can be involved in any of the steps of planning and carrying out the program, including:

∙ Creating room décor

∙ Planning crafts, activities, and skits

∙ Teaching Bible lessons

∙ Building the VBS set

∙ Helping as VBS group leaders

∙ Serving snacks

− Registration due: June 1, 2024 These trips will fill up!

− Registration Fee: $50 (counts toward the cost of your first trip)

TFC is looking for 12 teens to minister at several nonprofit organizations over the course of a week. This trip is meant to be a sampler of volunteer options near home where teens could continue to minister. We will stay at TFC during the week and ride a TFC van to and from volunteer locations. Here is a list of some of the places we have served:

Children’s Vision International, Feed My Starving Children, Union Gospel Mission, Sparrow’s Nest, Gathering Place, Bridging, God Town, and Teens For Christ

-Must be 14+ years old with a heart to serve. ​

-These trips are designed to help teens serve our community, grow in the Lord, and to seek God’s working in and through us!

March 11th-16th

Each year during the spring break for schools, TFC offers a mission trip to a Bible camp. Much of the week is used to clean, fix, and build things for the coming camp year. This year, the trip is to Living Word Bible Camp in Grand Rapids, MN. Living Word has been holding camps since 1973. Living Word’s mission is: “To present the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Christ-centered principles of living to children, young people, and adults while providing a meaningful and affordable camp experience in a beautiful setting, reflective of God's beauty and goodness to us.”

In 2015, TFC started bringing groups of teens to Belize to start and grow a youth Bible quiz league. Each summer TFC plans to send one to three small mission teams to introduce quizzing to new churches and run quiz meets with existing groups.
